Interview with an Anonymous Soldier About the Tragedy
During the strike, eight fighters were killed, 40 were injured, and six more are missing. An anonymous soldier who was present during the strike said that the command summoned the soldiers for a ceremony during the alert, which may indicate a security breach. A few minutes later, the strike occurred. He also expressed the belief that someone from their side could have provided coordinates to the hostile army.
“People need to know the truth. I simply put myself in the shoes of the wives of my brothers, of my wife. Or I put myself in the place of the fallen guys. Their families know nothing at all. They are told nothing. Because it is simply negligence of the command. Because the alert was already in place. And it was necessary for everyone to leave the area within ten kilometers. So that there would be simply no one left there,” he stated.
Currently, official sources have not confirmed or denied the information regarding the number of deceased and injured. The Russian terrorist army struck the settlement in the Samariivskyi district of Dnipropetrovsk region, resulting in casualties among military personnel and civilians.
