According to glavcom.ua: On Thursday, September 25, two Hungarian Gripen fighters intercepted five Russian military aircraft. This was reported by 'Glavkom', citing the press release from the Alliance's Air Forces on social media.
"Two Hungarian Gripen fighters from NATO in the Baltic region took to the air on September 25 from Šiauliai, responding to Su-30, Su-35, and three MiG-31 aircraft that flew near Lithuania's airspace," the statement said.
According to NATO, Hungary reaffirms its commitment to the Alliance in protecting the Baltic countries and the eastern flank.
There is also a tense situation in Europe, as confirmed by the suspension of flights at Aalborg airport in Denmark due to unidentified drones. This highlights the need to strengthen security measures not only in airspace but also everywhere there is a threat to citizens and infrastructure.
