According to ХВИЛЯ: President Volodymyr Zelensky announced a series of international meetings that will take place in Ukraine at the beginning of January 2024. These events include meetings of national security advisors, military leaders, and leaders of European countries. The meetings aim to discuss important security issues and cooperation in the face of modern challenges.

  • The first meeting of national security advisors will take place on January 3, 2024, with participation from 15 countries already confirmed.
  • The following day, January 5, a meeting of chiefs of general staff is planned, where security guarantees for Ukraine will be discussed.
  • On January 6, 2024, a meeting at the level of European leaders will be held.

It is important to note that as of the beginning of 2024, Cyprus has taken over the presidency of the European Union, which may influence the issues being discussed. Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized:

These international meetings in Ukraine underscore the importance of coordination among partner countries in the field of security, especially in the context of growing threats. The interaction of national security advisors and military leaders may become the basis for forming new security strategies, which is critical for the stability of the region. The participation of European leaders in particular indicates a revitalization of cooperation within the European Union, which may affect the further development of the situation in Ukraine and relations with Russia.

He also noted that 'even on New Year’s Eve, the Russians did not hold back', indicating the relevance of security issues in the current context.
