According to 5 канал: In October, Ukraine intends to host a trilateral meeting involving the United States and Russia to explore ways to end the ongoing war, reduce attacks on energy infrastructure, and improve maritime security. Kirill Budanov, Head of the Ukrainian President’s Office, confirmed preparations for these talks, which will take place alongside the Yalta European Strategy (YES) forum in Kyiv.

"Firstly, we are organizing this meeting. Secondly, we want to minimize damage to the energy sector. Fundamentally, terrorism is unacceptable. We will also address security and navigation issues, among other technical matters," Budanov explained.

Former US President Donald Trump expressed optimism about reaching a swift agreement to resolve Russia’s war against Ukraine. Responding to this, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that ending the conflict requires tangible de-escalation measures.

"Ukraine is ready to collaborate with our partners on these steps," Zelensky stressed.

However, despite preparing for peace talks, Russia has made it clear that it will continue military operations during any potential negotiation period. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov reaffirmed this stance, highlighting the ongoing complexities surrounding peace efforts. Achieving a resolution will demand significant commitment from all parties involved.
