According to ХВИЛЯ: President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated that Ukraine could end hostilities by the summer of 2024, provided Russia demonstrates a willingness to negotiate and the United States offers security guarantees. Zelenskyy emphasized that successful talks depend on mutual desire from both sides. He noted that if Russia shows interest, Ukraine is prepared to discuss a 20-point plan, which includes potential resolutions concerning part of the Donetsk region. This comes as Ukraine continues to defend its sovereignty against the ongoing Russian invasion, a conflict that has reshaped European security.

Kyiv has already agreed to a U.S. proposal to hold a meeting with a Russian delegation in Miami next week. The Ukrainian President also indicated that a meeting could take place in Abu Dhabi. He stressed the paramount importance of achieving concrete results from the negotiations, stating:

Volodymyr Zelenskyy ruled out the possibility of traveling to Moscow for talks, asserting, 'we are defending our state, Russia attacked us, and they are the aggressor.' The President also clarified that elections in Ukraine are only possible after a ceasefire is established, highlighting security as the nation's fundamental concern. He added:
