The minimum wage in Ukraine will increase to 8647 hryvnias: when will this happen
Ukrainians can rejoice! Starting from the beginning of 2026, their minimum wage will rise. According to budget bill No. 14000 registered in the Verkhovna Rada, the minimum wage will increase to 8647 hryvnias per month – that is 647 hryvnias more than now.
This will be the first increase since 2024 when the minimum wage was 8000 hryvnias. The hourly wage will also rise – it will be 52 hryvnias. The minimum wage is not only important for employees but also a significant economic indicator that determines the basic income level, workers' rights, and social contributions.
According to the budget bill, Ukrainians can expect the minimum wage to increase at the beginning of 2026. This will be the first increase since 2024 and will raise the minimum wage by 647 hryvnias to 8647 hryvnias per month.
