Ukraine agreed to limit its army to 800 thousand: what does this mean

During the negotiations, the Ukrainian side agreed to limit the army's size to 800 thousand people. Initially, it was proposed to reduce the army to 600 thousand, but the Ukrainians decided that 800 thousand would be optimal. Details of this peace agreement have leaked from the Financial Times, close to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

It was also noted that the presidents of Ukraine and the USA will discuss the most important aspects of the peace agreement. Steps to end the ongoing conflict were agreed upon during negotiations in Geneva.
