According to Главком: A three-way meeting involving Ukraine, the United States, and Russia has been announced and is scheduled to take place in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the coming days. These talks represent a significant diplomatic effort to address the ongoing conflict. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has confirmed the composition of the Ukrainian delegation and stated that the negotiations will be conducted at a technical level.

Ukrainian Delegation Members

The Ukrainian delegation will include the following officials:

  • National Security and Defense Council Secretary Rustem Umerov
  • Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Kyrylo Budanov
  • Deputy Head of the Presidential Office, Serhiy Kyslytsia
  • Head of the 'Servant of the People' parliamentary faction, David Arakhamia
  • Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Andrii Hnatov

According to the information, a separate American delegation will travel to Moscow. President Zelenskyy noted that U.S. officials could meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin late on January 22 or during the day on January 23.

"They will travel now, and my team will meet with the American team, and I think this will be the first three-way meeting in the Emirates, and I think it will be tomorrow and the day after. Yes, it will be a meeting that will last two days in the Emirates." - Volodymyr Zelenskyy
