Ukraine and Germany are creating joint arms production: details of the agreement

According to hvylya.net: Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal held a meeting with representatives of the German military circles. During the discussion, the possibility of joint production with German companies and the implementation of projects within the initiative Build with Ukraine was discussed.

'I thanked Germany for its strong support in the security sphere. I emphasized the importance of providing Patriot systems and the personal contribution of the general in this process. I also expressed gratitude for the announced 9 billion euros in aid, which will be allocated annually, and a contribution of 300 million euros for the development of long-range drone production,' Shmyhal emphasized.

Achievements made during the meeting with the German Minister of Defense were also highlighted, as well as reforms in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Minister focused on the fact that Ukraine is working on bringing its military standards closer to NATO in collaboration with partners and thanked Germany for its readiness to respond to any challenges and for deepening defense cooperation.

Ukraine and Germany discussed the possibility of joint production and implementation of projects in the defense sector, which is confirmed by the newspaper that this is a step for Ukraine towards approaching NATO standards and strengthening cooperation with European partners.
