According to ХВИЛЯ: On December 16, Ukraine and Germany signed agreements totaling 1.2 billion euros following the 'Ramstein' meeting. These agreements provide significant support for the Ukrainian army, including the purchase of new weapons and equipment. The total value of contracts signed with Germany exceeds 1.2 billion euros.
Main aspects of cooperation
In particular, Berlin plans to purchase Ukrainian drones worth 200 million euros. One of the key aspects of cooperation is financing the production of 200 self-propelled artillery units 'Bohdana' for a total of 750 million euros. Germany has also signed a contract for the long-term supply of spare parts for the Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine. These steps are aimed at strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities in the face of modern challenges.
Additionally, Ukraine and Germany are launching the largest artillery project and will begin joint production of new Ukrainian drones 'Linza'. The contracts include the supply of the latest tactical-level electronic warfare systems. To support Ukraine, Germany has committed to allocate 11.5 billion euros, as confirmed by Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
These agreements significantly enhance military cooperation between Ukraine and Germany, reflecting Germany's commitment to support Ukraine in the face of ongoing aggression.
