Ukraine Conducts Real-World Trials of Interceptor Drones

According to ХВИЛЯ: Ukraine is currently putting interceptor drones through rigorous combat tests, demonstrating their capability to shoot down targets effectively. However, according to Kyrylo Budanov, head of the President’s Office, the current number of these drones remains insufficient. Scaling up their production will require several months.

Budanov noted, 'They exist, but not yet in the quantities needed.'

He emphasized that the prototypes are tested in active combat scenarios rather than controlled lab environments, confirming that 'they actually bring down targets.' President Volodymyr Zelensky recently instructed to accelerate the scaling process, yet Budanov clarified that this expansion will take 'not weeks, but a few months.'
