Ukraine entered the top 10 medal standings of the European Youth Olympic Festival

The Ukrainian team performed successfully at the XVIII Summer European Youth Olympic Festival in Skopje, North Macedonia. As a result of the competition, Ukraine took 10th place in the overall medal standings.

Our athletes won 5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze medals, allowing them to enter the top 10 participating countries of the festival. The best sport for Ukraine was judo, where our athletes won six medals, including bronze in the team tournament.

Ukrainian athletes also received awards in swimming, athletics, taekwondo, shooting, artistic gymnastics, and table tennis. They demonstrated a high level of preparation and professionalism during these competitions.
