Ukraine Repels 192 Assaults in a Single Day: Pokrovsk Sector Sees Heaviest Fighting

According to Главком: On June 15, Ukraine's General Staff released a combat summary documenting intense activity across the front lines. The data includes:
- 192 combat engagements
- 2,085 shelling incidents
- 70 missiles launched
- 58 airstrikes
- 157 guided aerial bombs
- 6,222 kamikaze drones deployed
The Pokrovsk direction remains the most volatile area of the front.
Over the past day, Russian forces carried out one missile strike involving 70 rockets, along with 58 airstrikes that dropped 157 guided bombs. In total, 2,085 attacks targeted Ukrainian positions and populated settlements. The enemy also made heavy use of loitering munitions, launching 6,222 such drones.
Frontline developments
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders neutralized 36 Russian soldiers and wounded 10 others. Additionally, they destroyed:
- four military vehicles
- damaged five more
- two artillery pieces
- 67 enemy bunkers and shelters
During operations in this sector, 235 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types were either destroyed or jammed.
Other sectors also remain tense:
- In the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, Russian forces launched three assault attempts and shelled Ukrainian positions and settlements 43 times.
- In the South Slobozhansky sector, the enemy attacked Ukrainian lines six times.
- In the Kupyansk sector, one assault was recorded near Kurylivka.
- In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian troops repelled 16 enemy assaults.
- In the Sloviansk sector, Russian forces stormed Ukrainian positions ten times.
- In the Kostyantynivka sector, occupiers also carried out ten attacks.
- In the Oleksandrivka sector, three assault actions were reported.
- In the Huliaipole sector, 16 attacks were recorded.
- In the Orikhiv sector, the enemy assaulted Ukrainian positions five times.
- In the Dnipro sector, they attacked near Antonivka.
This marks day 1,573 of Russia's full-scale war in Ukraine. The frontline situation remains challenging, with numerous clashes and relentless shelling by occupying forces.
The General Staff's report underscores the ongoing intensity of combat operations across multiple sectors of the front.
Conditions remain critical, demanding constant vigilance from Ukrainian forces as they continue to repel attacks and defend national territory.
