According to ХВИЛЯ: Ukraine has officially restarted the export of military goods. This decision was made by the Interagency Commission on Military-Technical Cooperation and Export Control, marking its first meeting in eight months. Following a lengthy pause, the first Ukrainian enterprises have now received the necessary export licenses. This move signals a strategic shift as Ukraine's defense industry adapts to the demands of a prolonged conflict.
The primary condition for exporting weapons abroad remains the unconditional priority of meeting the needs of Ukraine's Defense Forces. Exports are permitted only in areas where production capacity exceeds the internal demands of the army. The current capacity of Ukraine's defense-industrial complex is now valued at over $55 billion. Specifically, in the fields of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), electronic warfare (EW), and reconnaissance, production capabilities already surpass the volume of domestic procurement.
