According to Главком: Ukraine’s women’s team saw their tournament run come to an end after a 10:21 loss to Australia in the quarterfinals of the 3x3 Basketball World Cup. Prior to this defeat, the Ukrainian squad had topped their group, finishing ahead of France, Lithuania, Japan, and Canada.

During the match against Australia, Ukraine managed only two successful long-range shots, while their opponents converted six. Miriam Uro-Nile led Ukraine’s scoring efforts with 5 points and 6 rebounds. For the winning side, Marena Whittle stood out with 8 points and 10 rebounds.
