According to Главком: Ukraine has formally called on YouTube to halt the promotion of advertisements for the Alabuga center, an entity currently under sanctions. According to official reports, this facility involves students-including minors-in the production of Shahed strike drones. This has alarmed Ukrainian authorities, who argue that cybersports and digital platforms must not serve as a cover for the militarization of education, the recruitment of teenagers, or the endorsement of sanctioned military enterprises. The joint statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Youth and Sports made this clear.

On April 25, a Counter-Strike 2 tournament on Twitch featured advertisements for Alabuga. In response, Twitch blocked the accounts involved in broadcasting and promoting the content. However, as of the date of the statement, YouTube and Google had taken no action against similar material on their platforms, highlighting the issue of unregulated advertising for sanctioned entities in the digital space.

Additionally, on April 29, specialists from the SBU Alpha Special Operations Center struck the Perm station, located more than 1,500 kilometers from Ukraine’s border. The station belongs to Transneft, another company under sanctions, raising further concerns about the activities of such enterprises.
