Updated List of Sites for Accessibility Monitoring

According to Міністерство інфраструктури: Ukraine’s Ministry of Development, in collaboration with civil society organizations, has revised the list of facility types scheduled for accessibility monitoring in 2026. For the first time, inspections will go beyond public buildings to include:

  • apartment complexes
  • hotels
  • cafés
  • restaurants
  • gas stations
  • other service-sector facilities

Monitoring Duration

The monitoring campaign will run from June 1 to August 31, 2026. It will cover all communities except those in temporarily occupied territories or areas of active hostilities. This initiative aims to ensure that infrastructure is accessible to every citizen.

The updated monitoring list reflects a growing societal focus on inclusivity and the need for equal access for all population groups. The rollout of this assessment could mark a significant step toward improving conditions for people with disabilities, thereby supporting their social integration and fuller participation in community life.
