Vyacheslav Sharpar

Vyacheslav Sharpar was born on June 2, 1987, in the city of Zelenodolsk, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. Throughout his career, he played for numerous football clubs, including:

  • Vorskla

His achievements include winning a bronze medal in the Ukrainian Premier League with Metalist in 2011, securing the Moldovan championship and Cup with Sheriff, and claiming the Latvian league title with FC Riga. Equally sorrowful is the news of Ukrainian floorball player Yuriy Orlov's death. He had been a member of the KFK club from 1996 to 2026. The Ukrainian Floorball Federation extended heartfelt condolences to Orlov's family, friends, and loved ones, recognizing his contributions to the sport:

These tragic events highlight the heavy toll the war is exacting on Ukrainian sports and leave a lasting wound in the hearts of football and floorball fans alike.

These losses serve as a painful reminder of the war's consequences, which continue to affect thousands of Ukrainians, including the athletic community. Vyacheslav Sharpar and Yuriy Orlov have left behind a significant legacy in Ukrainian sports, and their memory will be honored as examples of dedication and passion for athletics. These tragedies once again underscore the urgent need for peace and safety for all citizens of Ukraine.

The impact of loss in the sports community is felt universally, as seen in the heartfelt reactions from athletes and fans alike.
