First Ukrainian Drone Factory Opens in Germany, with Zelenskyy Receiving Initial Unit
Joint Venture Launched on German Soil
According to ХВИЛЯ: The first joint Ukrainian-German enterprise for manufacturing drones has commenced operations in Germany. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy toured the facility and personally accepted the inaugural combat drone produced there. These new unmanned aerial vehicles are equipped with artificial intelligence, enabling them to conduct reconnaissance missions, strike targets, and provide protection for military personnel.
The venture has committed to delivering 10,000 drones to Ukraine's Defense Forces by the end of this year. Plans are also in place to establish ten additional joint production facilities for Ukrainian drones. In a speech, President Zelenskyy expressed gratitude to Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Defense Minister Boris Pistorius, and the German people for their steadfast support.
Zelenskyy remarked: 'Today, I accepted the first jointly manufactured strike drone. We witnessed the production line and the drone's maiden flight.'
