Ukrainian Forces Hit Russian Military Assets

According to Зеленський: In a coordinated operation, Ukraine launched strikes against three distinct areas: mainland Russia, occupied Crimea, and the waters of the Azov and Black Seas. The attacks successfully damaged two logistics hubs in the Moscow and Tambov regions, along with an oil-related facility. These actions were carried out in retaliation for Russian strikes on Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure.

Key Strike Axes

Ukraine’s long-range precision strikes focused on three primary axes: Russian territory, temporarily occupied land, and maritime zones. The targeted logistics sites were reportedly used to supply sanctioned components for drone production and navigation equipment. The facility in the Moscow region lay over 500 kilometers from the front line, while the one in the Tambov region was roughly 700 kilometers away.

Additional strikes hit objectives in the Azov Sea area, the Black Sea zone, and within occupied Crimea. Announcing the operation, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked personnel from the Special Operations Forces, the Armed Forces, the Security Service, and the Defense Intelligence, stating:

“I thank the warriors of the Special Operations Forces, the Armed Forces, the Security Service, and the Defense Intelligence-every unit of Ukraine’s Defense Forces for their precise and coordinated execution of tasks. Glory to Ukraine!”

These operations highlight Ukraine’s growing ability to strike deep behind enemy lines, demonstrating advancements in military technology and tactics. By responding directly to Russian attacks on civilian targets, Ukraine signals its determination to counter aggression and defend its territory despite ongoing challenges. Such missions not only bolster regional security and stability but also strengthen the morale of both Ukrainian troops and civilians.

In light of these recent military actions, President Zelenskyy has also introduced a comprehensive strategy aimed at enhancing Ukraine's long-range sanctions capabilities, which will further target critical infrastructure in Russia. This initiative is a direct response to the ongoing conflict and highlights Ukraine's commitment to countering aggression.
