Attacks on Targets Inside the Russian Federation

According to Главком: On the night of July 1, Ukraine's Defense Forces launched strikes on targets within Russian territory. These operations successfully hit several strategically important sites, including:

  • The Research Institute of Electromechanical Devices in the Penza region, where a direct hit and smoke were reported;
  • A road bridge over the Malyi Kalchyk River near Hranitne in Donetsk region;
  • A railway bridge over the Tepla River in Luhansk region;
  • A logistics crossing in Novoocheretuvate, Donetsk region.

Additionally, the strikes destroyed a fuel and lubricants depot in Melitopol, along with three material and technical supply warehouses located in:

  • Krupki, Kursk region;
  • Rivnopil, Donetsk region;
  • Novoiehorivka, Kharkiv region.

Ukrainian forces also hit five enemy drone control centers in the Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions.

Other targets included an oil refinery in Ufa and a military factory in Penza. The distance from the front line to Ufa is over 1,300 kilometers. Furthermore, the Security Service of Ukraine struck the Saky military airfield in temporarily occupied Crimea, where five drone impacts on hangars were confirmed.

Statement from Ukraine's President

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the situation: 'For the second time, our sanctions responses to Russia's prolongation of the war have reached the oil refinery in Ufa-one of Russia's largest lubricant producers. The distance is over 1,300 kilometers from the front line.'

These actions demonstrate that Ukraine's Defense Forces continue to target critical enemy infrastructure, showcasing their ability to operate at long range.

The strikes mark an escalation in the conflict and highlight Ukraine's capacity to carry out further operations aimed at degrading Russia's logistics.
