Ukraine gathered over 52 million tons of grain: harvest results of 2025
Ukraine is finishing the harvest of 2025: results for 2025 and forecasts for 2026.
General information about the harvest
As of today, Ukraine has gathered over 52.5 million tons of grain crops on an area exceeding 10.4 million hectares. 89% of the sown area has been harvested.
- Wheat – over 22.9 million tons.
- Barley – over 5.4 million tons.
- Peas – over 672 thousand tons.
- Corn – over 22.4 million tons.
The highest yields are being collected in Khmelnytskyi, Chernihiv, Vinnytsia, Odesa, and Poltava regions.
Other types of crops
Currently, over 17 million tons of oilseeds have been harvested. In total, 93% of the sunflower harvest and 97% of soy have been gathered, and the collection of rapeseed has been completed.
Over 10 million tons of sugar beets have already been harvested on an area exceeding 192 thousand hectares, which represents 97% of the sown area.
Winter crop sowing
The sowing of winter crops in Ukraine has actually been completed. The diversity of sown areas remains stable, focusing on winter wheat as a basis for the country's nutrition.
The foundation for the harvest of 2026 has already been laid.
The harvest in Ukraine this year is impressive with its remarkable results. A huge amount of grain and oilseeds has been harvested, which will have a significant impact on the agricultural sector and the overall economy of the country. Moreover, the completion of winter crop sowing indicates that the harvest for next year is already in the ground. All that is left for the farmers is to carefully tend to the crops and prepare for new harvests.
