Ukraine won its first medal at the European Swimming Championship for Juniors

According to glavcom.ua: Ukrainian athletes continue to delight with their achievements in international competitions. At the European Championship in swimming and Greco-Roman wrestling, our athletes showed high results.
Ukraine won its first medal at the European Swimming Championship for Juniors held in the Slovak city of Samorin. Nikita Sheremet won silver in the 50m freestyle, finishing second with a time of 22.17 seconds. Gold was won by Tais Yuška from Lithuania, beating the Ukrainian by only 0.03 seconds. The bronze medalist was the Spaniard Luka Huc le Genedal.
In Greco-Roman wrestling, our young athletes also performed admirably, securing third place overall. They won a total of seven medals: two silvers and five bronzes. In addition, Ukrainians shone at the diving championship, winning 12 medals of various merits, earning recognition for their talent and team spirit.
In particular, Ukrainian athletes demonstrated impressive results and flew the Ukrainian flag high at competitions across levels and countries, confirming their competitiveness and professionalism.
