Ukraine wins its first medal at the World Games in acrobatics: the success story of the duo

According to glavcom.ua: Ukrainian athletes have won their first bronze medal at the World Games in sports acrobatics. Stanislav Halayda and Anastasia Kurashvili became bronze medalists in the mixed pairs competition at these games in Chengdu-2025. Our athletes reached the final from fourth place in the qualification and claimed the medal, surpassing the Italian duo with a score of 18.900 points.
According to the information, Ukrainians finished sixth at the Games in Birmingham-2022, but at this tournament they managed to achieve a worthy result. The overall outcome of the Ukrainian team includes 5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze medals, which secured the team 10th place in the overall medal table of the European Youth Olympic Festival.
Ukrainian athletes continue to delight us with their successes in international competitions, raising the bar for the next generations of athletes. Their efforts and dedication to the sport deserve respect and support from the public.
