According to hvylya.net: In Ukraine, control over the enforcement of court decisions regarding the collection of alimony continues to tighten. According to the Ministry of Justice, as of September 1, 2025, more than 10.3 billion UAH has been collected through enforcement measures. The department emphasizes that ensuring the payment of alimony remains one of the key priorities for state executors.

Enforcement measures for debtors

The application of legal mechanisms allows for influencing debtors who evade fulfilling their obligations. The Ministry of Justice reports that more than 150,000 individuals have already faced temporary restrictions due to non-payment of alimony. Among these are the prohibition of leaving the country, restrictions on the right to drive vehicles, use weapons, and hunt.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Justice actively enforces the collection of alimony, employing legislative tools to penalize debtors who fail to meet their financial obligations.
