Last day to use funds from the "National Cashback" program

According to Рубрика — Суспільство: July 31 is the last day to use the accumulated funds from the "National Cashback" program. From August 1, any unspent balances will return to the state budget. The program continues to operate, and in August, Ukrainians will receive payments for the purchases of domestically produced goods made in May. The State Enterprise "Diia" reminds via Telegram: "today is the last day to use the funds on the "National Cashback" card. Starting August 1, any unused balance will return to the state budget."

The term for using funds from the "National Cashback" program has been postponed from June 30 to July 31, which also applies to the "Winter Support" and "Winter Support 2025" programs. Funds accrued for April were supposed to be used by June 30, but the deadline has been extended. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decided at the end of June to increase the funding for the "National Cashback" program in 2026 by UAH 799.2 million. The funds allocated for the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture increased from UAH 2,138.1 million to UAH 2,937.4 million.

Compensations for the purchase of domestically produced goods

Within the program, users receive a 5% or 15% compensation for purchasing domestically produced goods.

  • 5% cashback is provided for food, automotive goods, medicines, and products for gardening.
  • 15% cashback is provided for non-food products, including clothing, footwear, electronics, toys, leisure, and repair items, as well as for hard and soft cheeses, pasta, oatmeal, and buckwheat grains.

The accumulated cashback can be used to assist the Armed Forces of Ukraine and charitable foundations, pay utility bills, purchase Ukrainian books, medications at partner pharmacies, and goods from participating stores, as well as to pay for postal services. Nearly 1,500 retail chains and individual stores across Ukraine have joined the "National Cashback" program.

The "National Cashback" program is an important element of supporting Ukrainian manufacturers and stimulating the consumption of domestic goods, which can contribute to the economic development of the country. The return of unused funds to the state budget also indicates the need for more active use of the program by the population to ensure its effectiveness and funding in the future.

As the deadline approaches, many Ukrainians are eager to take full advantage of the benefits from the April cashback program, which has seen millions of participants. Understanding how these funds can be utilized effectively may help maximize savings and support local businesses before the funds revert to the state budget.
