Ukraine's Used Car Market Sees Major Growth in 2025

According to ХВИЛЯ: Ukraine's automotive sector experienced significant expansion in the used vehicle segment during 2025. Demand for imported used cars jumped by 24% compared to the previous year. In total, 274,300 used passenger cars were added to the national fleet through imports. This trend highlights a strong and growing consumer preference for pre-owned vehicles, particularly those manufactured abroad, as buyers navigate economic pressures. Remarkably, used cars accounted for 77% of all passenger vehicles purchased. The average age of the imported cars chosen by Ukrainians was 8.4 years.

• Diesel vehicles accounted for 18%
• Hybrid models held a 5% market share
• Cars equipped with LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) systems represented 3%
