129 Mortgages Totaling 273 Million UAH Issued in a Week Under Ukraine's eOselia Program
Mortgage Lending Through the eOselia Program
According to Мін. Економіки: Over the past week, Ukrainians secured 129 mortgages worth a combined 273 million UAH under the eOselia program. This initiative, part of the broader 'Made in Ukraine' policy, aims to help various categories of citizens achieve homeownership.
Of the 129 new mortgages issued last week, loans at a 3% interest rate were granted to:
- Military personnel and security sector workers – 47
- Teachers – 8
- Medical professionals – 4
- Researchers – 4
Additionally, loans at a 7% rate were provided to:
- Ukrainians without their own housing – 44
- Internally displaced persons – 22
Since the start of the year, 4,541 Ukrainians have taken advantage of the eOselia program, with the total value of subsidized mortgages reaching 8.9 billion UAH. The highest number of loans were issued in:
- Kyiv Oblast – 43
- Kyiv city – 25
- Vinnytsia Oblast – 12
Purpose of the eOselia Program
Implemented across Ukraine, the eOselia program is designed to improve access to housing for diverse social groups, including military personnel, educators, and internally displaced individuals. Amid ongoing economic challenges, this initiative represents a significant step toward stabilizing the housing market and enhancing living conditions for many Ukrainians.
