Ukrainian delegates joined the COP30 conference in Belem, Brazil, to support climate policy, forest protection, biodiversity, and food security. Despite the war, Ukraine is actively participating in green recovery and seeking to draw the world’s attention to Russia's war crimes against nature.
“Even during the war, we continue to work on the country’s green recovery, showing the world that even in difficult times, one can find the strength to develop and preserve the environment.”
Ukraine aims to align with the European Green Deal, actively building and leading projects and initiatives even in the most challenging times. Participation in COP30 provides our country with an opportunity to demonstrate its commitment to environmental protection and determination to fight for the preservation of natural resources even in the toughest times.
