Mass Bee Die-Off in Ukraine: What Consequences Await Farmers

According to glavcom.ua: Ukraine has a serious problem with the declining bee population, which has been discussed for a long time. Entomologist Yevheniy Halayim confirms the fact of bee deaths in the country, pointing to the negative consequences of this phenomenon for the agricultural sector.

The disappearance of bees can seriously affect crop quality and lead to hunger due to the lack of main pollinators of plants and fruit trees. Yevheniy Halayim warns of decreased productivity in the agro-sector in the case of excessive use of insecticides.
