Ukrainian Wins Youth Squash Tournament in Bucharest

According to glavcom.ua: Ukrainian Victoria Syvoplyas has become the winner of the Romanian Junior Open 2025 squash tournament. The competition lasted three days at the Infinity Sport Arena in Bucharest.

Eight age categories were opened, with over 60 young players participating, including 6 Ukrainians. Victoria Syvoplyas excelled, becoming the winner in the BU15 category.

Ukraine also showed a good result at the European Youth Olympic Festival, finishing 10th in the medal tally. Our athletes won 5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze medals.

Successes at the World Summer Universiade

At the World Summer Universiade in Germany, the Ukrainian team showed a worthy result. Ukraine finished 14th in the overall medal standings, winning 12 medals: 4 gold, 3 silver, and 5 bronze. Among the winners was Mykola Rushchak from Sumy, who won bronze in the 20-kilometer race walk.
