Ukrainians Serdiuk and Romaniuk are U-22 European Beach Volleyball Champions: Historic Gold

According to glavcom.ua: The Ukrainian duo Eva Serdiuk and Daria Romaniuk became European U-22 beach volleyball champions. They won the final against the Pavelkovi sisters from the Czech Republic, not losing a single set throughout the tournament held in Austria.

As for other Ukrainian participants in the tournament, the duo Sofia Kurnikova and Irina Nikitchuk fell short in the additional round. In the men's competition, Dmytro Kozii and Yaroslav Tymchenko reached the quarter-finals, where they lost to their opponents, finishing in 5th-8th place.

It is also worth noting that Ukrainian Mykola Rushchak won bronze at the World Summer Universiade in Germany in the 20-kilometer race walk. Ukraine finished 14th in the overall medal table of this competition, winning 12 awards: 4 gold, 3 silver, and 5 bronze.

Ukrainian athletes showed impressive results at international competitions in beach volleyball and race walking, winning many medals and impressing with their achievements on the sports arena.
