Ukrainians won gold and silver at the World Games 2025: a new world record

Ukrainian swimmers continue to dominate at the World Games in underwater swimming. Sofia Grechko and Anna Yakovleva amazed everyone by winning gold and silver, respectively. Grechko set a world and game record, completing the 400 meters in 3:11.88.

The Ukrainian team also showed the best result in the history of participation in the European Youth Olympic Festival, winning 23 medals. Our athletes impress with their diversity and successes in various sports such as judo, swimming, athletics, taekwondo, shooting, gymnastics, and table tennis.

The successful participation of the Ukrainian team was also noted at the World Summer Universiade, where we won 12 medals in various sports, including bronze from Mykola Rushak in the 20-kilometer race walking.
