After Pregnancy Loss, Ukrainian Singer Mila Nitich Lost 15 Kilograms
Weight Gain Followed a Difficult Period
According to РБК-Україна — Lite: Ukrainian singer Mila Nitich faced serious health issues after experiencing a pregnancy loss, which caused her weight to exceed 80 kilograms. The artist, who has a predisposition to type 2 diabetes, shared the challenges she encountered and her efforts to return to a normal life.
How the First Kilograms Came Off
To lose weight, Mila Nitich consulted a doctor who prescribed her the medication Ozempic. This treatment helped the singer shed the first 15 kilograms. According to the artist, during the treatment she almost stopped eating and drinking water due to a lack of hunger sensation.
“At some point, I just snapped out of it and thought: nothing hurts, I’m no longer nauseous. I put on jeans that I could barely fit into a week ago, and I realize they’re loose on me,” said Mila Nitich.
Medical Supervision and a New Approach
Later, the singer decided to switch to a different medication and also began using vitamin blends and dietary supplements, while revising her diet. However, she also noted that the pregnancy loss led to serious hormonal issues. “Because it didn’t happen immediately and went unnoticed for a while, I started having major hormonal problems. My body reacted very strongly to what I went through,” the artist added.
What to Know About Ozempic
Professor Serhiy Zaika has warned Ukrainians about the use of weight-loss injections, emphasizing that such drugs are not always safe. The treatment Mila Nitich underwent was conducted under medical supervision due to her predisposition to type 2 diabetes and potential side effects.
Mila Nitich’s situation and her struggle with weight gain after serious health problems and pregnancy loss highlight the importance of medical oversight when using weight-loss medications. It also reflects a broader issue faced by many people who have experienced psychological or physical trauma, and how their health can affect their overall well-being. It is crucial for patients to receive proper support and guidance from medical professionals before starting any treatment program.
While Mila Nitich's experience with weight loss medications highlights the need for careful medical supervision, it’s worth noting that not all celebrities endorse such treatments. For instance, Natalia Mogilevskaya recently denied using injections to manage her weight, suggesting a more cautious approach to health and wellness in the public eye.
