According to Главком: Ukrainian singer Nata Smirina, 41, has welcomed her first child, a daughter named Lia. Smirina is best known as a member of the band Pur:Pur, which participated in Ukraine's national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest in 2016.

Pur:Pur was formed in Kharkiv in 2008. The group originally consisted of two members, Nata and Yevhen, with guitarist Stanislav joining later. The band has performed at numerous festivals, including:

In 2016, Pur:Pur advanced to the semi-finals of the national Eurovision selection with their song 'We Do Change'. The eventual winner of that selection was Jamala, who went on to win the entire Eurovision contest that year.
