According to Спортивний комітет: The Ukrainian horting team delivered a remarkable performance at the World Championship and World Cup held in Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany. This major international event gathered more than 1,200 athletes from 28 countries. Ukraine’s official delegation included 135 members, encompassing competitors, coaches, and officials. The team returned home with an outstanding haul of 95 medals: 41 gold, 25 silver, and 29 bronze.

At the World Championship alone, Ukrainian athletes secured 60 medals, consisting of 25 gold, 13 silver, and 22 bronze. Their success spanned multiple disciplines: combat bouts yielded 20 gold, 13 silver, and 22 bronze medals, while demonstration performances contributed an additional 5 gold medals. Meanwhile, the World Cup saw Ukraine add 35 more medals to their collection-16 gold, 12 silver, and 7 bronze. In dueling and related categories, Ukrainian participants earned 13 gold, 10 silver, and 7 bronze medals. Police self-defense competitions brought 2 gold and 2 silver medals, and fencing added one gold medal to the tally.
