According to glavcom.ua: In the match of the youth world championship 2025 (U-17) between Canada and Uganda from Group K, which will take place on November 5 in Doha, a team of referees from Ukraine will be working. The referee crew will be represented by Oleksiy Derevinsky as the main referee, assisted on the lines by Viktor Matiash and Oleksiy Myronov. The match is scheduled to start at 17:45 Kyiv time.

The Ukrainian national football team won against Iceland with a score of 5:3 in the qualifying match for the world championship. Goals were scored by Ellertsson, Gudmundsson, Malinovskyi, Hutsuliak, Kaliuzhny and Ocheretko. In the next match against Azerbaijan, the Ukrainian team drew 1:1, with goals scored by Makhamudov and Sudakov.

World Championship Qualifiers. Group D

In the world championship qualifying match, the Ukrainian team lost to France 0:2. The meeting took place at the stadium in Wroclaw, Poland. It is worth noting that during the game with France, Ukrainian fans showed their support to their team by unfurling a huge banner with the inscription 'Fortress of Europe'.

Ukrainian referees will lead the match at the youth world championship, Ukrainian football players impressed with the goals scored, and the support of the fans at the stadium in Poland lifted the team's spirits, despite the defeat to France.
