Oleksandr Kazik claimed the gold medal with a flawless shooting performance and a finishing time of 17:37.7 minutes. The silver medal was won by Yaroslav Reshetynskyi, while Anatolii Kovalevskyi took home the bronze.

Yaroslav Reshetynskyi finished second, 1:02.4 minutes behind Kazik, also hitting all his targets. Anatolii Kovalevskyi, who placed third, finished 1:06.1 minutes behind the leader, also without a single miss. This gold marks the second Paralympic title of Oleksandr Kazik's career. Four years prior in Beijing, he won gold in the 12.5 km race, bringing his total Paralympic medal count to five.
