According to ХВИЛЯ: Ukrainian men of conscription age currently residing in Germany are expected to return to Ukraine voluntarily. The German government is prepared to share relevant information with Kyiv to help identify these individuals. Federal Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul emphasized in an interview with Bild that the repatriation process must remain free of coercion.

"Ultimately, we know who lives here, who receives social benefits, who is registered, and who holds residence permits," said Johann Wadephul.
