Alina Dmytruk also secured the number one seed following the group stage. Her run ended in the semifinal with a 12:15 loss to Hungary's Lotti Horvath. This is Dmytruk's second consecutive individual medal at a world championship; she is also the reigning world junior champion in the team event.
