Recent Ukrainian Military Actions

According to ХВИЛЯ: Over the past day, Ukrainian forces have successfully struck two chemical industry facilities located in Russia’s Perm and Samara regions. Additional attacks hit a target in the Black Sea and several sites in Taganrog. The ongoing military campaign has also resulted in the destruction of a Su-33 fighter jet and two Mi-8 helicopters stationed in the Krasnodar and Rostov regions within the last week. Among other significant targets was an oil facility in Perm.

President Zelensky’s Statement

President Volodymyr Zelensky highlighted in his address: “Our long-range retaliatory strikes are making the war increasingly tangible for the aggressor every day. Within the last 24 hours, we damaged two Russian chemical plants in the Perm and Samara regions. A target was also hit in the Black Sea. In Taganrog, SBU forces destroyed FPV drone manufacturing sites, UAV storage facilities, an oil product tank, a radar station, and a Pantsir-S2 missile system.”

The president further confirmed the elimination of a Su-33 aircraft and two Mi-8 helicopters in Krasnodar and Rostov, as well as the strike on an oil installation in Perm. Earlier reports noted a fire at a factory in Taganrog following a nighttime drone assault, alongside a second drone attack this week on the Saratov oil refinery.

These developments underscore Ukraine’s intensified response to ongoing aggression. Striking strategic infrastructure deep within Russian territory reflects a shift toward more aggressive military tactics by Ukraine, potentially influencing the broader conflict dynamics. The destruction of key production facilities and military assets could significantly impair Russia’s capacity to sustain its war efforts.

In a related development, the Security Service of Ukraine has successfully disrupted drone production and targeted crucial strategic locations in the Perm and Samara regions. This operation aligns with Ukraine's broader military strategy aimed at diminishing Russia's operational capabilities.
