Ukrainian Forces Target Key Russian Military Sites Including Sešča Airfield and Command Centers

According to Рубрика — Суспільство: During the night of October 6-7 and throughout the previous day, Ukrainian forces launched a series of strikes against Russian military installations both on occupied Ukrainian territory and inside Russia. The primary target was the Sešča airfield located in Russia's Bryansk region, where Ukrainian officials are currently assessing the extent of the damage inflicted.

These operations also involved hitting a Russian electronic warfare station near Hrynove and destroying a radar installation close to Elionka. In the Donetsk region, Ukrainian troops struck a facility used by Russian forces for storing, preparing, and launching attack drones. Additionally, a Russian command post near Hirnyk came under fire.

Continued Ukrainian Offensive Activity

In the areas around Ukrainsk and Kurakhivka, Ukrainian forces successfully neutralized enemy command and observation posts. In the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia region, Russian drone control centers near Bilotserkivka and Kamyanka were also targeted. Further west in Luhansk Oblast, a logistics warehouse near Krynychne was destroyed, while a fuel and lubricant depot close to Kondriuchie was hit.

Earlier, on October 4, Ukrainian Security Service drones struck Russian Su-35 and Su-34 fighter jets stationed at the Khanskaya airbase in Russia's Republic of Adygea. An ammunition depot at the same airfield was also damaged. Prior to this, on October 3 and the night of October 3-4, Ukraine’s Defense Forces carried out attacks on critical Russian military targets, including a Buk-M32 surface-to-air missile system, drone storage and launch sites, and electronic warfare stations.

On October 2 and overnight into October 3, Ukrainian forces similarly conducted strikes on multiple Russian military positions, notably facilities connected to the storage, preparation, and deployment of attack drones. These actions reflect an intensified Ukrainian military response to Russian aggression.

Regular Ukrainian strikes on Russian military infrastructure highlight a growing operational tempo and increasing effectiveness of strategic initiatives.

By systematically dismantling vital enemy assets, these operations could significantly undermine Russia’s combat capabilities. Maintaining such targeted tactics remains crucial amid the ongoing conflict, underscoring the strategic importance of disrupting adversary logistics and command networks.
