This engagement marks the very first recorded naval battle between unmanned boats, signaling a new chapter in maritime warfare.

The operation involved detecting a Russian surface drone, which was then neutralized by the Ukrainian Sargan 3000 outfitted with a 12.7 mm RWS 'Protector' automatic turret. This achievement demonstrates the growing effectiveness of cutting-edge military technology in Ukraine’s naval operations and represents a significant milestone for the Ukrainian Navy.

Heightened Ukrainian Naval Activity in the Black Sea

This event is part of a broader wave of Ukrainian naval actions in the Black Sea, where over the past ten weeks, Ukrainian forces have struck 285 vessels of the Russian shadow fleet in an ongoing campaign known as 'MoLoChKa.'
