According to ХВИЛЯ: While evading an Interpol warrant and hiding in Zimbabwe, Ukrainian blogger and traveler Andriy Kryndushkin made money by filming video greetings featuring a local tribe. He reportedly paid participants meager sums, such as one dollar, while receiving large fees from clients in Ukraine and Russia via the Periscope platform. Among his clients was the fugitive Ukrainian MP, Oleksandr Onyshchenko.

Earnings and Production Setup

Kryndushkin stated his record earnings reached $980 in a single day. He claimed all greeting traffic was routed through Periscope, where he conducted live broadcasts.

"Who is it for? A wife? A beloved? Or maybe a mistress? It didn't matter. I had a whole stream of these orders." - Andriy Kryndushkin

He also described the production process. "In the morning, the tribe would come to me. Their women sent them, saying, 'Go work for the white man,'" Kryndushkin recalled. He added that for Onyshchenko, he recorded a greeting later addressed to politician Yulia Tymoshenko. This case highlights how individuals evading justice can leverage global digital platforms to run a business from abroad.
