According to Главком: Ukrainian moviegoers will have six new films to choose from starting March 5, 2026. This diverse lineup includes:

Film Details and Background

'Couture' is a joint US-French production directed by Alice Winocour, starring Angelina Jolie. Filmed in Paris, it had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in early September 2025.

The US-produced 'The Bride' is directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal and stars Jessie Buckley and Christian Bale. The film, which had an $80 million budget, was shot in 2024.

'Hamnet', a historical drama co-produced by the US and UK, is directed by Chloé Zhao and features Jessie Buckley and Paul Mescal. Shot in 2025, the film has already garnered eight Oscar nominations for the 2026 ceremony and has earned over $92 million at the box office.

The British gothic horror 'Terror' is directed by Natasha Kermani and stars Sophie Turner and Kit Harington. Filming took place in Cornwall, England, in November 2024.

The Japanese animated film 'Scarlet' is directed by Mamoru Hosoda. Production lasted over four and a half years, and it premiered at the Venice International Film Festival in early September 2025.

The final release is the US animated film 'The Jumpers', directed by Daniel Chong and produced by Pixar Animation Studios and Walt Disney Pictures. Work on this project began in 2020.

This slate of films highlights the growing vitality of Ukraine's cinema market, which continues to attract major international releases.
