According to МВС: At the IFMA Senior World Championships 2026 held in Kuala Lumpur, cadet Nikita Kuts from Odesa State University of Internal Affairs secured the world title in Muay Thai. Competing in the under-57 kg weight class (U24 Male division), he delivered an outstanding performance throughout the tournament.

Kuts fought three matches during the event:

  • In his opening bout, he defeated a Malaysian opponent by technical knockout.
  • During the semifinals, he overcame a competitor from Iraq.
  • In the final, he beat an Australian fighter, earning him the world championship crown.
