The 17-year-old secured the title on January 23rd, defeating China's Wang Xinbo 5-2 in the final. Snooker, a cue sport with a strong professional circuit in the UK and Asia, sees this victory as a significant breakthrough for Ukrainian talent.

The Path to Victory

Larkov demonstrated impressive form throughout the tournament. In the group stage, he won three of his four matches, securing three 3-0 victories.
