According to ХВИЛЯ: On January 13, 2024, a significant increase in frost is expected in Ukraine, which may lead to temperatures of up to -20 degrees in the northern regions. According to forecasts, in these areas, the temperature will drop to -15-20 degrees, creating difficult weather conditions for the population.

Night temperatures across the rest of the country will range from -10 to -14 degrees, while in the southern regions and Transcarpathia, temperatures will vary from 6 to 12 degrees of frost. During the day, temperatures in the northern part of Ukraine are expected to be -10 to -14 degrees, while in other regions, it will be -6 to -9 degrees of frost.

Snow is only expected in the western regions. According to meteorologist Natalka Didenko:

"In Kyiv, on January 13, there will only be snow around, on the trees and ground, but it will not fall actively." Natalka Didenko

At night, temperatures may drop to -18 degrees, while during the day, -12 degrees is expected. Didenko also noted that the frosts will continue, but starting from January 15, Ukraine will see more snow, which will allow for a little 'respite' from the frosty weather.
