Starting in October, Ukreximbank Will No Longer Manage Accounts for Social Benefit Recipients

According to ХВИЛЯ: In Ukraine, social benefits are typically paid through designated banks, and this upcoming change will require beneficiaries to update their payment details. Starting October 1, 2026, AT Ukreximbank will no longer service accounts for recipients of pensions, housing subsidies, benefits, and other state social payments, according to the Pension Fund of Ukraine. Beneficiaries must choose another authorized bank and submit a request to change their payout method by September 15, 2026.

The request must include the account details of the newly chosen bank. It can be submitted either via the Pension Fund's web portal for electronic services or in person at any of the fund's service centers. The list of authorized banks is posted on the Pension Fund of Ukraine's website.

What This Means for Social Benefit Recipients

If a beneficiary does not select a different bank by the deadline, payments will be delivered through AT Ukrposhta branches. This applies to anyone receiving state financial assistance as pensions, subsidies, or other social payments.
