According to Главком: Andriy Konechenkov, Chairman of the Board at the Ukrainian Wind Energy Association, has warned that the balancing market is facing an escalating crisis due to mounting debts. The state-owned enterprise NPC Ukrenergo now owes electricity producers over 31 billion UAH on the balancing market. Meanwhile, debtors owe Ukrenergo approximately 46 billion UAH, with a significant portion of these liabilities attributed to state-owned companies and affiliated entities. This imbalance highlights deep structural issues in Ukraine’s energy sector.
